2. Data on your device

Progress, high scores, settings and your creature’s name are stored only locally on your device and are not transmitted to us. Daily reminders are local notifications.

3. Advertising with Google AdMob

The app is free and funded by ads via Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). On first launch, Google’s consent platform (UMP, IAB TCF) asks for your consent; on iOS, Apple additionally asks whether the app may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA). Depending on your choice, Google processes IP address, device and app information, the advertising ID (only with permission) and ad interaction data. Personalised ads and storing/accessing information on your device require your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can change or withdraw your choice in the app under “Your mind” → “Privacy settings for ads”, and the IDFA permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. Anonymous usage statistics (only with consent)

If you agree, we send anonymous information such as chapter, world reached, score, accuracy, app version and language, together with a random identifier that is not linked to your name, device or advertising ID and is deleted when you withdraw consent. Purpose: improving the game. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw anytime under “Your mind” → “Anonymous statistics”. Provider: TelemetryDeck GmbH, Germany; processing in the EU.

5. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store; we receive no payment data.

6. Website

klarloop.com is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA), which processes technically necessary data such as your IP address to deliver the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website uses no cookies, analytics or ads.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Locally stored game data can be deleted in the app under “Your mind” → “Reset progress”.
